Accounts Payable/ACH Assistant
Leggett & Platt is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our International Supply Chain Compliance team in Chicago, IL.
In this role, you will provide global accounts payable support to L&P partners by working closely with our ISCC staff along with our suppliers and service providers.
What you ll do:
- Research and allocate charges with applicable general ledger coding based on Entry Summary data for ACH payment
- Process ACH customs fees on a per company basis and ensure transactions have appropriate supporting documentation
- Assist in reconciling ACH transactions to ensure entries are paid appropriately
- Gather documentation, audit and process supplier and service provider invoices for international transactions
- Help troubleshoot and resolve documentation discrepancies with internal and external partners
- Reconcile supplier/service provider statements and provide related remittance
- Research/request credits on accounts as needed
- Work with internal partners to resolve coding errors
- Create and maintain standard documentation that helps ensure overall compliance, including Standard Operating Procedures as well as guidance for internal and external partners
- Contribute to and support other ISCC and Corporate initiatives as needed
