02/26/2021 Description We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Director, Financial Planning & Analysis with biotech and corporate finance experience who has an operationally focused mindset, is a big thinker and is interested in leading a team in a fast paced, global organization.
The successful candidate will be strategic in thinking, analytical in approach, and have a demonstrated ability to influence the decisions of executives through effective communication, financial analyses, logical reasoning, and the creation of alternatives.
Additionally, the candidate will drive operational controllership and develop new mechanisms to drive scale, automation and efficiencies.
This position will report to the Finance Director of FP&A.
Qualified individual will be responsible for leading team of Business Partners supporting the Departments and Business Units.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support the Director of FP&A with the financial planning & analysis activities including the creation of annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly and quarterly reporting of financial results for management and investors, and department heads Lead team of multiple business partners Lead the financial consolidation processes including planning, development, and delivery of accurate and timely management reporting of monthly financial performance, forecasts, capital expense tracking, headcount, and other reporting requirements Oversee budgeting, reporting, and planning for international manufacturing subsidiaries Develop and manage ongoing planning calendar including, coordination with multiple Finance functions and business partners Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and uses results to provide strategic input to upper management while creating effective presentations to communicate conclusions and recommendations Develop reporting and analysis in a standardized format across the finance organization Monitor process effectiveness and efficiency against goals and objectives, taking corrective action as necessary; identifies, implements, and support complex process improvements Understand strategic priorities developed by management with agility to shift between tactical and strategic perspectives based on audience and project needs Analyze Gross Margins by working with multiple finance and business partners and applying both business and financial acumen to communicate analysis Develop and present accurate and timely management reporting to drive discussions on business trends, forecast accuracy, and upcoming projects/activities Support ad hoc requests and ongoing analytics support to assist the PDM organization with tactical and strategic decision making processes Drive development and implementation of key process improvement initiatives Proactively engage with Finance colleagues and business partners to develop continuous process improvements to planning, analyses, and reporting Help develop and monitor critical success metrics, and communicate actionable insights to relevant stakeholders Work to develop new internal dashboards to automate and enhance internal reporting Work with the Director of FP&A to create and manage the annual budgeting process and long-term strategic financial planning Collaborate with the Accounting team on the monthly close process, financial reporting, and preparation of GAAP financial statements Work with the Director of FP&A and Accounting to define and implement best financial management practices and reporting across the Company Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to improve business and financial performance Minimum Requirements:

The candidate must demonstrate an ability to build strong relationships with Finance and non-Finance business partners and work collaboratively to deliver meaningful analyses and decision support 10
years of relevant experience in Finance, having held positions of increasing scope and responsibility.

years of supervisory experience Prior experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals industry or supporting manufacturing is preferred.
Experience in multi-national organization a plus.
Must have Biotech Experience in a commercial Mfg Knowledge of Sage, SAP and Adaptive Insights very important Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts and accounting principles Superb organizational skills and experience leading projects Robust financial and operational modeling experience with understanding of modeling best practices (eg, dynamic models with case functionality, user-friendly models with clear labeling of assumptions/data sources) Experience developing reporting packages (Excel and PPT), preferably at a middle market company History of successfully leading business case analysis and planning processes which set strategy through a financial lens, then tracking the plan to report on its progress over time Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Bachelor's or Master degree in Accounting or Finance Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical experience Experience with financial systems/applications, proficiency in Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation, including pivot tables, v-lookup, and macros Experience with project accounting and sponsor's reporting a plus Keen attention to accuracy and detail while under tight deadlines RCM Technologies is a leading provider of IT Business Solutions and Engineering Services to over 1,000 clients in the commercial and government sectors.
