We are seeking an ambitious, operationally-focused and results-driven Leader for our Residential Living Dining venues.
As the Dining Room Supervisor at Asbury Methodist Village you will be responsible for the daily operations, leadership, management and success of our dining venues in Long Term Care and Assisted Living.
You will also be responsible for conducting pre-meal meetings, assisting with customer service issues, and maintaining a highly visible presence in the dining area while working with wait staff, residents, and family.
Major Duties include:
Conducts pre-meal meetings to prep wait staff on daily specials and operational updates Continuously interacts with wait staff during dinner helping to respond to questions and concerns Assists department manager in the interview and selection process for servers Provides all coaching, counseling, and progressive disciplinary action in accordance with AMV policy and procedure Maintains a visible presence in the dining room to assist in all customer service issues Makes necessary adjustments to ensure operating challenges are addressed in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience required High School Diploma Required Must possess or obtain, within (3) three months of hire, a Maryland State Food Handlers certificate.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other associates Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc.

Ability to deal tactfully with associates, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
