Web Applications Developer

Strategic Results is seeking a Web Applications Developer to research, design, develop, maintain and monitor several web applications and websites including mobile websites. The Web Applications Developer is expected to have a deep understanding of and extensive experience in developing, maintaining and monitoring web applications and websites. This role is a core participant in a small group of developers and product/project managers and must work well with team members and leaders at all levels. Candidates must be a US Citizen and be able to pass a criminal and financial background investigation for this position.
Responsibilities include:
Research, design, develop, maintain and monitor several web applications and websites.
Ensure maintainable, scalable, reliable, and secure code.
Improve code quality through peer reviews and proactive adoption of new processes and tools.
Test, integrate, write, troubleshoot, and debug software applications.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including both requirements, design and functional documents
Provide production and non-production application & platform support as needed
Participate in the full development cycle for idea / concept, design, development, test, release, monitoring and maintenance.
Participate in the creative process of web application and website design.
Document testing and maintenance of system, including issue tracking and reporting.
Estimate effort required for tasks and projects and completes work by agreed upon deadlines.
Provides task-wise status to the project lead / manager.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field

years Software Development experience

years Web Application and Website experience including mobile websites
Required Experience & Skills
Experience working with Linux, Windows, PHP, JavaScript, Jquery, HTML 4 & 5, web server configuration and administration (Windows, IIS, Linux, Apache), and relational database (MySQL, MS SQLServer, PostgreSQL)
Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
Deep working knowledge of general web landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks
Be comfortable working independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong quality code metrics
Background in Object-Oriented Programming.
Experience with design patterns.
Understand and value Web standards with a strong focus on considering user experience
Can work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet key deadlinesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
