Responsibilities include: Contributes specialized knowledge and skill to a work team. Resolves and makes decisions on routine service requests with limited risk.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience Required:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certifications.
Minimum 5 years' experience in information technology.

years' experience working with Infrastructure Software (in order of preference): Application Servers (WebSphere, Tomcat), Database Management Systems (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2), Web Servers (Apache) Directory Services, Reporting Services (Actuate, Cognos), Business Intelligence Services (Hadoop, Couchbase, DB2 Blu)
Recent work or strong exposure to current cloud concepts
Preferred:
Graduate Degree
Technically Relevant Certifications (ITIL, Oracle, ITIL, PMP, WebSphere, etc.)
Experience in guiding and advising others.
Experience in working with varied architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure, information, applications, organizational structure, etc.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Provides support, oversight, governance and tactical direction related to the infrastructure services that are required to enable the delivery of IT services.
Provides input to the overall architecture, governance model
Supports, implements and promotes standard configuration and change management, processes and practices.
Delivering Technology
Performs quantitative and qualitative analyses for service delivery processes and projects.
Supports existing systems and projects in a minimum of one environment.
Reviews completeness of requirements prior to Service Provider solutioning
Participates with the Service Provider in planning and coordinating implementation, reviewing quality control of systems functional design, usability, functionality, and implementation.
Ensures early warning to the leadership regarding degraded or missed service levels
