VP of Finance - Gaithersburg, MD - VC backed medical products company is looking for a VP of Finance to help take them to the next level, current company revenue is $10 million and they plan to launch several products with $5 million revenue capability in the next 3-5 years. This role will focus on expanding the current financial department from 10 (controller, A/P, A/R), developing more sophisticated reporting/operating processes and participating in road show investment strategies. Company is eager to gain market share in a $500 million US market, this will include new commercial initiatives to include partnering/product in-licensing. This position will work hand in hand with the CEO/Board/VC to incorporate business strategy (this position will also introduce the candidate to a well- established VC group that could expose them to future opportunities) into a nimble, operating structure. The ideal candidate has a relevant financial leadership background, entrepreneurial spirit and is willing to wear a lot of hats (used to this type of pace). Finance/Accounting degree preferred (MBA desired but not mandatory) with excellent communication/presentation skills. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
