The Opportunity:
In this leadership roleyou will have accountability for architecting and implementing people and organizational strategy for the US Commercial Oncology business, that is aligned with the organisations vision and its current and long-term strategic objectives.
Reporting to the VP HR Oncology, you will act as a trusted sparring partner, coach, mentor, and advisor to the Leadership team to enable dedication through people in line with the business strategy and company purpose, mentality and core values.
You will be a member of both leadership teams (US Commercial and HR Oncology).
Role
Responsibilities:
As Head of HR you will:
Create and implement the people strategy, aligned with our vision and our current and long-term strategic objectives.
Identify organizational opportunities and drive actions to help improve employee engagement and retention as Great Place to Work.
Ensure consistency across the region in order to develop an aligned and effective organizational blue print with clear scope and accountabilities that best serves our customers and patients.
Through quarterly end to end Organization and Talent Planning sessions, ensure the building of strong pipelines for business critical roles.
Through quarterly Regional Talent reviews, proactively identify, discuss and connect ready to move enterprise talents with critical openings which help support talents' long term career goals and AZ business needs.
Play an active role of catalyst of change by enabling key business transformations (eg.
Go to Market operating model implementation) supporting the business in communicating and enabling change within the business area Build positive relationships with HR community and build capability within the HR function to deliver against objectives mentoring and developing talent whilst liaising together with the local HR directors and centre of excellence in HR to assure alignment with the overall strategy and service delivery Orchestrate and lead all aspects of continuous evolution of key people practices (org.
design, job evaluation and reward, recruitment, organisational planning, talent management, performance development, etc) within the region to ensure that they stay relevant to current and future business needs.
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum of ten years of relevant HR experience is required.
Significant strategic HR Business Partnering experience, including leading complex business change Previous leadership experience in a fast growing commercial organization Strong commercial competence and analytical skills Understanding on how to read a P&L and understand people consequences Experience coaching senior leaders Proven orientation to results - ability to translation business strategy into concrete people strategy and implement optimally.
Technical HR knowledge / skills associated one or more of the following subject areas - Strategic Workforce Planning / Resourcing, Performance & Reward, ER, L&D, OD, organisational efficiency and change.
Strong project management skills and able to demonstrate experience of managing sophisticated HR projects through a complete project life-cycle Experience in a highly matrixed organization and influencing without authority Experience in partnership with COEs to deliver on strategy and business plan Self-starter with a drive to make things happen at pace Strong emotional intelligence, listening, influencing and mentor skills Resilience Preferred Requirements:
Master's degree and demonstrated ability in related human resources leadership positions is preferred.
