Quality Assurance Tester
Description Leidos is seeking a QA Tester with a focus on test validation.
The role is integral to successful deployment of technological improvements across Salesforce platform.
You will design and implement test cases which verify approved requirements and document results, assist with software application troubleshooting and technical diagnosis, and identify changes in support of continuous improvement of the current test process and processes.
The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience with Testing, Agile processes familiarization, User Story development, User Acceptance testing and Automated testing development and usage.
The ideal candidate will enjoy a fast-paced atmosphere, be detail oriented and have a solid understanding of AGILE methodology.
They should be able to share their knowledge in a variety of testing concepts, practices, procedure and participate in the development and maintenance of test cases, test approaches, test plans, Manual functional testing, regression testing, system integration testing, configure and execute automated testing, support user acceptance testing, and report issues found during the test lifecycle.
Ultimately, they will support all stages of the testing cycle and client communications on key findings.
They will also provide support to the PM on how to improve upon testing procedures and implementations.
THE ROLE:
Support test planning and requirements traceability, defect tracking, documentation, communication (internal and external to Leidos), test plans and test cases.
Working with software development team, develop Testing Strategies, Test Plans and executing all testing activities.
Understand the overall features and functions of the platform to be able to test the applications effectively.
Working with application design team, develop and execute software test plans and validation procedures.
Participate requirement, test case, and test plan peer reviews.
Work alongside scrum teams to test system level automation and end to end monitoring and validation.
Prepare test scenario and / or test plans to be used in system testing including client communication and documentation.
Provide support on system integration testing, functional testing, application performance testing and application security testing.
Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and enhancement of software.
Including communication with multiple business lines.
Design, write and develop test cases that are scalable, relevant, repeatable, and measurable.
Execute test cases:
perform 'positive' and 'negative' testing as well as verify functionality.
Generate test data for functional and integration testing.
Work with clients to document requirements and produce test-related artifacts.
Analyze test results to ensure existing functionalities and recommend corrective actions and their associated timelines for correction.
Use of automated testing tools.
in resolution of defects.
Assist with improvement of standard operating procedures on a routine basis and in designing Defect Management Workflow.
Understand downstream/upstream impacts of test flow changes and communication.
Maintains and improves product quality by completing product/ and or process audits if necessary.
Assist the Project Manager in identification of risks, risk management and risk mitigation strategies to ensure a successfully tested application.
BASIC
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree B.
S.
in Computer Science or similar field with a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or Master's with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
A minimum of 2 years of experience with leading software testing, load and stress testing.
A minimum of 2 years' experience performing QA Testing duties with a solid understanding of agile methodology and defect lifecycle.

Minimum 2 years Strong knowledge of testing analytics platform, creating test approaches and test plans, quality management, metrics management, testing tools, software configuration management, build management/version control procedures, change control procedures, and issues management.

Able to track multiple test executions simultaneously and follow up on results.
Experience testing CRM (Salesforce solutions.
)Experience creating standard operating procedures and metrics based on best practices.
Experience in multi-tasking, prioritizing in accord with contract and project goals with the ability to work independently and in a team environment while handling multiple tasks and prioritization of workloads.
Candidate must be able to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Understanding of application development framework.
Familiarity with contemporary web application usability standards.
Understanding of federal government compliance standards, such as 508 and OMB Standard operating Procedure updates.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $54,600.
00 - $84,000.
00 - $113,400.
