Medical Assistant, Day Shift, Gaithersburg Primary Care
Adventist Healthcare is hiring a Full Time Medical Assistant (MA) for our Primary Care office in Rockville, Maryland.
We're offering sign-on bonuses up to $500.

We're seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) who will embrace our mission to extend God's acre through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Medical Assistant (MA) you will:
o Ensure that patient charts are complete prior to the Provider seeing the patiento Assist at the front desk as needed with checking-in patients and answering phone callso Clean and stock patient exam rooms, order medical supplies, and ensure that all medical equipment receives the required routine maintenance and is maintained in an orderly fashion.
o Ensure that patients are triaged and seen in accordance to office policy.
o Ensure that every patient receives excellent service and quality care.
o Fill in at any other position in the office as required to ensure excellent patient service Qualified candidates will possess:
o High School Diploma or GED required o Medical Assistant course completion diploma/certification required o Medical Assistant Certification (NHA, ARMA, etc.
) preferredo American Heart Association BLS Certification required o Blood Pressure and EKG experience required o Phlebotomy certification preferred o 1-year experience preferred o Strong customer service skills o Ability to handle a multi-task environment; strong organizational skills.
o Ability to work within a team environment and enhance the working relationship within that team o Basic PC skills o Medical Terminology o Good verbal and written communication skillsWork Schedule:
