We are looking for a motivated self-starter with a strong attention to details and curiosity to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
This role is highly technical; we expect the candidate to learn the functionalities and terminologies of our financial reporting systems (SAP, SONAR, HFM, ESSBASE, TAGETIK, Oracle BI, etc.
) quickly and perform the quantitative data analysis using a large amount of data.
The Financial Analyst II will report to Senior Manager II of FP&A.
The ideal candidate will take ownership of the assigned tasks and will work closely with a team of experienced finance professionals to deliver the Sodexo Group's reporting requirements.
Due to the nature of the role, the candidate must be flexible and adaptable to the rapid changes in our systems, procedures, and processes.
Some of the responsibilities include but not limited to:
Assist the team with forecast, budget, and landing processes of Sodexo North America Assist the team with monthly/quarterly financial close process of Sodexo North America Lead individual workstreams to identify improvements and implement solutions to the current processes Act as a consultant on various projects to support the requests from Management Ad-hoc projects related to data consolidation, data analysis, variance analysis as assigned Work with stakeholders from various functions (IS&T, MDM, FSC, etc.
) to ensure the data accuracy and alignment Work with segment finance and Business Analytics and Decision Support COE to provide guidance and technical support on monthly financial close, forecast, and budget processes Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who are/have:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, or Engineering Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills Strong technical skills (Office 365, Google Docs, Tableau, PowerBI, Smartsheets, Relational databases, etc.
) and ability to think outside the box High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Strong ability to prioritize and perform under pressure (due to tight deadlines) Flexible, pragmatic, and able to deal with high complexity Previous experience in handling large amount of data using various systems to consolidate, analyze and present to the leadership team Previous experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment Working for Sodexo:

Position Summary Has working knowledge and experience in financial planning.
Continues to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.
Performs a range of mainly straightforward assignments such as performing economic research and studies of rates of return, depreciation and investments.
Analyzes profit-and-loss income statements and assist in the preparation of reports and recommendations to management.
Generates forecasts and analyzes trends in sales, finance and other areas of business.
Researches economic progressions to assist the organization's financial planning.
Participates in financial models of what if scenarios for future business planning decisions in areas such as new product development, new marketing strategies, etc.
Uses prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems.
Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
