Duties: Utilize experience in laboratory techniques such as protein spectroscopic analysis (UV-Visible Absorbance, FTIP, and Fluorescence spectroscopy), calorimetric analysis (DSC, ITC), particle sizing and characterization (DLS, HIAC, MFI), physico-chemical solution analysis (Osmometry, Viscometry, Moisture analysis / Karl Fischer titration), classic protein biochemistry sample handling and analysis (UF/DF, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot), chromatography (SEC, RP), and formulation screening, to coordinate studies for the evaluation and development of stable formulations for vaccine candidates, including study design, sample management, timeline management, data collection and data presentation. Under supervision of the senior scientist, design and execute studies for the evaluation and development of stable formulations for vaccine candidates using biophysical and biochemical assays (Fourier transform infrared, fluorescence, absorbance and circular dichroism spectroscopy; differential scanning calorimetry, osmometry, viscometry, among others). Develop assays (Fourier transform infrared analysis; circular dichroism analysis; particle count and sizing) for formulation development and stability testing of virus vaccines, recombinant proteins and virus-like particles. Develop and execute assays for biological product characterization, on-going process development and/or testing of clinical material. Analyze, interpret and present data in small group, department and conference settings. Participate in cross functional teams with development and GMP personnel to facilitate transfer of development procedures to GMP facilities. Write and review technical protocols and reports documenting formulation, stability and method development studies. Coordinate and execute routine maintenance and troubleshooting for laboratory instrumentation, including spectrometers, calorimeters, particle characterization and robotics systems.

Requirements: Master's degree in Biochemistry or a related field plus 4 years of post-baccalaureate experience in protein formulation and reflecting demonstrable ability in the skill set described above.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
